Infoblox Inc. today announced that Steve Garrison has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. In his role at Infoblox, Steve will be responsible for spearheading the evolution of Infoblox’s global brand and positioning as the leading provider of network infrastructure automation and control solutions. He will do this through effectively driving all strategic marketing programs and managing the corporate communications, creative services, events, marketing operations and web teams.
With more than 20 years in the networking industry holding a variety of marketing roles where he developed and implemented multi-level global strategies to drive substantial revenue and market share growth, Steve brings a wealth of expertise to his new role at Infoblox.
Prior to joining Infoblox, Steve helped successfully distinguish Force10 Networks among many competitive switching and network infrastructure companies by clearly articulating company and technology differentiators, developing laser-focused branding campaigns and aggressively positioning the company’s contribution to essential network automation efforts.

Steve Garrison also has held similar positions at Riverstone Networks, Cabletron Systems and Conductus. He received a B.S. in Ceramic Science from Alfred University and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from M.I.T. He also holds four patents and was one of the founding members of the Ethernet Alliance.
